dear sara,
don't put your finger in your eye!
it tends to hurt more when you get it stuck!

Dear Sara, It tends to hurt less when you close your eye before actually putting your finger there.

Laughter IS the best medicine, but not pain relief for when you poke your eye!

LOL the first thing that came to my mind when I saw "advice colum" was Dear Abby.
One thing in life I have learned is when you think you have things bad you will always find someone worse off.
I could complain about things; but, it would just make the less fortunate jealous.

Hmm Dear Abby:
I have tons of things I need to sell, but dont want to bug all my family and friends. How can I push, well interest more of them into the items I have?

good point anne. You could always take a space at a local flea market or event and sell it off that way too....

Try having an open house .... have the items nicely displayed with "Clearance" on them. "Only while supplies last" .... something like that. It would also be a good time to have a display of the company(ies) you currently represent. Brochures, a calendar with times to book a show/party, etc. Try to use all the possibilities you have. For invitations, find somthing cute and gimmicky like a trash can or a airplane with a banner "Everything Must Go". Something along those lines ... be creative. Offer an incentive if the guest brings a friend that wasn't already invited, such as 5-10% off the purchase, or off the purchase of your current line Think gimmick!!! and FREE --- we all love something free

Thanks every one. I listed what I had/have on a forum and sold about half of it, so I am not out as much. I hope I can get rid of the rest of it soon, so I can pay my cc bills but looks like it may be a little while. I will see what else I can do before it gets warm to do the flea market and my home party coming up soon.
